This is the genuine replacement hinge set for Villeroy & Boch toilet seats that use a top-fix soft close mechanism. If your seat hinges are broken, cracked, or no longer hold the seat steady, this is the correct replacement part — provided your seat has “Haro” printed on the underside of the top lid.

How to confirm this is the right hinge for your seat

Lift the toilet seat lid and check the underside. If the word Haro is printed or moulded into the plastic, this hinge set (C0102G) is the correct match. If there is no Haro marking, or if your seat uses a different fixing method (bottom fix or side fix), this part will not be compatible. What is a top-fix hinge?

Top-fix hinges are secured from above the toilet pan — you access the fixing bolts through the top of the hinge caps rather than from underneath the pan. This is a common fixing type on European toilet brands including Villeroy & Boch. When replacing, the old hinge caps unclip or unscrew from above, and the new set drops in without needing to access the underside of the pan.
